Top Convectional Glass Tempering Furnaces are high-performance machines used to temper normal glass and low-E coated glass by heating it to elevated temperatures and rapidly cooling it. Unlike full convection systems, these furnaces use a top convection system to circulate hot air above the glass surface, ensuring efficient heating. Commonly used in industries such as construction, automotive, and interior design, these furnaces produce tempered glass that is stronger and safer than standard glass, meeting industry safety standards.

Overview

Top Convectional Glass Tempering Furnace offers efficient and controlled heating, ensuring high-quality tempered glass production for normal and low-E glass. Its focus on energy efficiency, precise temperature control, and versatile processing capabilities make it an essential tool for manufacturers looking to optimize glass tempering processes while maintaining consistent, high-quality output.

How it works?

Glass sheets are placed into the furnace and heated using top convection technology, which focuses heated air on the upper surface of the glass. Once the glass reaches the required temperature (typically between 600-700°C), it is moved to a cooling section. In this stage, powerful air jets cool the glass rapidly, creating a tension that increases its strength. The tempered glass is then ready for use in applications that require durability, safety, and resistance to thermal stress.

Machine Features

  • Top Convection Heating: Utilizes convection technology to circulate heated air across the top surface of the glass, providing efficient and uniform heating while minimizing energy consumption.
  • Efficient Temperature Control: The furnace is equipped with precision temperature controls to maintain consistent heating levels, ensuring the glass is evenly tempered and free from defects.
  • Rapid Cooling System: After heating, the glass undergoes rapid cooling through powerful air quenching, which locks the glass in a tempered state, making it much stronger than untreated glass.
  • Energy-Saving Design: With a focus on energy efficiency, the furnace uses optimized insulation and advanced heat management systems to reduce energy consumption without sacrificing performance.
  • Versatile Processing Capability: Capable of tempering various glass thicknesses and sizes, from thin glass used in interior applications to thicker glass for external structures.
  • High Output Efficiency: The furnace is designed for continuous operation, capable of processing large volumes of glass quickly and efficiently, making it ideal for high-demand production environments.
  • Uniform Glass Quality: The top convection system ensures even heat distribution across the glass surface, resulting in high-quality, uniformly tempered glass that meets safety and durability standards.
  • Easy-to-Use Interface: Features an intuitive control panel that allows operators to easily manage heating and cooling settings, ensuring precise control and repeatable results with minimal training.
  • Durable and Reliable Construction: Built with robust materials for long-lasting use in demanding industrial environments, with minimal maintenance required.
