Full Convectional Glass Tempering Furnaces are advanced heating systems designed for tempering of normal glass and soft low-E coated glass by evenly heating glass sheets to high temperatures and then rapidly cooling them. This process strengthens the glass, making it more durable and resistant to breakage. Used extensively in industries such as automotive, construction, and interior design, these furnaces are essential for producing tempered glass that meets safety and strength requirements.

Overview

Full Convectional Glass Tempering Furnace offers precision, efficiency, and reliability in producing high-strength, safety-compliant tempered glass. By automating and optimizing the tempering process, it enhances the quality of the glass while reducing production time and energy consumption, making it an indispensable tool in modern glass manufacturing.

How it works?

The glass sheets are placed in the furnace, where they are heated to temperatures of around 600-700°C. Using full convection technology, heated air is circulated evenly around the glass, ensuring uniform temperature distribution. Once the glass reaches the required temperature, it is quickly transferred to a cooling section, where it undergoes rapid quenching using high-powered air jets. This sudden cooling locks the glass in a state of tension, significantly increasing its strength. The tempered glass is then ready for use in applications requiring high durability and safety.

Machine Features

  • Full Convection Heating: The furnace uses full convection technology, which ensures uniform heating of the glass by circulating hot air around the entire surface, eliminating uneven temperature zones for tempering of normal and soft coated low-E glass.
  • Precision Temperature Control: Advanced control systems allow precise adjustment of heating temperatures and times, ensuring consistent quality and reducing the risk of overheating or underheating.
  • Rapid Cooling/Quenching System: After heating, the furnace employs a powerful air quenching system to cool the glass rapidly, creating the tempered state that makes the glass much stronger than annealed glass.
  • Energy Efficiency: The furnace is designed to optimize energy consumption, with efficient insulation and heat recovery systems that reduce operational costs without compromising performance.
  • Flexible Glass Processing: Capable of processing glass sheets of various thicknesses and sizes, from thin glass for interior design to thicker glass used in facades and automotive applications.
  • High Production Capacity: Designed for continuous, high-volume operation, the furnace is capable of tempering large quantities of glass sheets in a short time, making it ideal for industrial-scale production.
  • Uniform Quality: The full convection method ensures that every piece of glass is uniformly tempered, reducing defects and ensuring that the final product meets industry safety standards.
  • User-Friendly Control Interface: The furnace is equipped with an intuitive control panel that allows operators to easily monitor and adjust process parameters, ensuring consistent results with minimal training.
  • Remote Support: Remote control system for after sales purposes.
